This is not the application. Merely a request for information on how the admins have played this character in the past so I can feel out the background, and to see if my roleplay sample- even if its not as dark as my usual writing- meets the expectations for the character.
When posting on the boards, please refrain from coloring your text. This is highly annoying, and also it makes the text hard to read sometimes. So, please, just stick to the default text color.

Hello there. As a former roleplayer of a few canons and a villain enthusiast of sorts, I would like to ask the standards for applying to be Magneto, or Max Eisenhardt. As there is little background and his second in command is running the show like a mongoose on a cobra, I would like to ask for more details and /or the current status of the infamous progenitor of mutant rights.
Here is a roleplay sample. I randomly cooked something up after reading the crackdown of the 100 suspected mobsters in New York, and started looking at the names like "Firehawk" thinking they'd be interesting in OC mutant writing. Should you like a magneto sample as well, I'd be more than happy to oblige. Won't start setting up profile and things 'till I've word of the current situation.
Cheers. I'll enjoy reading the guides and location info until I get a reply.

It was a droll day. Dreary, lifeless, but filled with the usual mutterances of teenage angst and adult worries. Drama, despair, and the usual college life filled with ramen noodles and twenty-five cent plastics.
One for each year of his life, the self proclaimed 25 year old Ryan Contralt muttered absent mindedly as his shadow snickered lively behind him. The bastard child of Tony "Firehawk" Licata and Lily Contralt, he hated everything. His life, a student on minimal income. His girlfriend? Dumped him two weeks ago. After hearing the efforts of Attorney General Eric Holder to "once and for all" crack down on the 100 suspected mobsters of the Northeast New York, he angrily groaned. More people to hate him, for a father that probably never even knew his name.
The electricity flickered, alive and dead for moments as a hard pounding resounded through the cramped dorm room like a wild animal. Ryan calmly put down his ramen next to the sink as he moved an idle hand through his uniform, red and blaack combed on an empty wallpaper of dim dorm lighting and a broken television.
He was, after all, poor. A fate that plagued him, and tore at his dreams like a mongoose on a cobra. Infamous, the word rolled off the tongue as easily as the brown haired student ruffled up his already messy hair and broke open the door with a grin as he gestured for the tuxedo sporting friend of the family to come inside.
The man was Luigi Manocchio, the Professor and former head of the Patriarca. The idea was simple. Social Engineering, creating the masses in their own image. Dominate the people, make them work for you to the point of living loyalty. But the feds, they didn't like that so much. So they hunted them, from New York Chinatown to Brooklyn. And when they got the mutant Anthony "Firehawk", it all came crumbling down.
The dorm, it burned that night. No witnesses, declared by the police as a gas hazard. No loose ends, no openings for a family member who might have inherited the mutant genome. The mafia, of course had other plans. Hunt the son of Firehawk down, and bring down hell itself on new york. Suddenly, the bastard of the mafia was the target of every pickpocket and deputy in the city.
His story starts, in the burning building, to Escape.
((Apologize for my use of color tags. Simply illustrating a point and you may blasphemize/loath my existence as you will, but I've no need to use this code again))
