Okay, I noticed as I was skimming through the board, that under each characters name, and affiliation is a series of dots.... Seriously. They've been driving me a little crazy. I have some major OCD and I can NOT figure out why some people have one and some people have five...

I thought it had to do with profiles being active, and it didn't or people who have not posted in a while, and it doesn't. It's driving me a little nuts (not really but I can't stop seeing them now) So someone please tell me what they are for and why they're different for some people. Please. Before my brain explodes.

(and i get the reason they're different colors, my question is more about why some people have five and others have one)

I have no clue, but it makes me just as wacky. I mostly tend to ignore it.

i try very hard to ignore it. but its like noticing a finger print on glass, you just keep staring at it

I believe it has to do with Proboards ranking system.
When you create categories like 'lone mutant' or 'brotherhood' or other classifications, some people have more dots than others just because Proboards puts them there to distinguish rank. Same with color. Mods and admins usually have different colors than normal members, to distinguish what powers they have or don't.

Something like that.
Long story short, it's a proboards thing.
