Months have passed since Magneto's failed attempt at turning humanity's leaders into mutants. He resides in his plastic prison, but the damage has been done. The world knows about mutants and the feelings about them vary greatly. A microcosm for the world is New York and even a bit removed from the city itself, is Westchester county. A hidden mutant population grows each day under the protection of Charles Xavier and his school.
When the purpose of the school is discovered, will they be allowed to live in peace, or will they be thrown to the wolves outside of those gates? Building in popularity is a grass-roots organization known as The Right; Humans who believe they alone possess the right to live in peace, without threat from genetic mistake that are the mutants. The town has also come under fire by a street gang, a group of unscrupulous mutants who see no problems in using their powers for personal gain and to bully those around them.
Salem Center is quickly becoming divided, and the turmoil is building...
