Colliding Differences
...One little slip and the world fell appart...
Zoey Redbird is dead. She was dead from the moment she threw her spirit at Kalona, ending her own life without recognizing she was doing so. You might be wondering... What happens next? What is left for the world, after the only one who can stop Kalona has perished? Well, think of the worst thing possible. A mix of chaos and insanity, all put together, to create a world in which Kalona and Neferet have taken reign over the House of Night. Soon, there will be much many under their thick spell...
You may be a fledgling, a Red, or maybe even a Vampyre, but there is no choice to which way you are going. Either you are with them, or you die. Well, what sane person would fight the darkness coming their way? Especially, if Zoey is dead? Well, you may be joining them, but that doesn’t mean you won’t fight. In a world where darkness is spreading, there are secret whisperings of a new chosen one. Or rather, new chosen ones... Could there possibly be one to take Zoey’s place? Well, some say yes, the ones that are in secret alliances against Kalona. Others say no. These are the ones baring the tattoo of their darkness, a black feather carved into their flesh. Why black? It is simple. Kalona uses a blade of his and Neferet’s choosing, one that has been infected by the darkness. One may call it chemical, the reaction. The surface in which the blade touched, going black. Either way, it is a permanent reminder of who you are with.
Now, Kalona and Neferet go about their business, creating followers, and punishing ones for trying to follow Nyx. Classes are still going, as Kalona and Neferet have both wished to try to keep things like a school. Or, somewhat like a school. All of Zoey’s friends have gone their separate ways, joining other groups of people. Reds have started going feral, as Stevie Rae has pushed off taking care to help them get their humanity back, due to her new depression. But, the most interesting thing, is that apparently, yet another type of fledgling is arriving. Or rather, being chosen. Kalona and Neferet have been sending certain Vampyres and others out to mark people, random passerby’s, with the feather. You have no choice, no do you have a purpose. You are simply there for another body to be controlled. A black feather, like the others, will have been carved into your forehead, though, it will be easy to tell those from the rest. When you go to Kalona willingly, seeking to join him, you will get to choose your marking place. Much unlike this idea, to gain members in the alliance.
There are many different paths to choose, and many different ways of going about it. Will you risk embarking on a journey of risks and darkness? Welcome to Colliding Differences, and our own version of Burned.
