I saw y'all had a similar thread going on asking a similar question, which reminded me that my dear Claire is currently stuck in a thread with someone who hasn't posted since Aug. 24. Is there some sort of ettiquette for when you can leave a thread, and how? I looked through the rules, etc and didn't see anything.

Um, you can do it several ways but I like to do it with an IC post. Nuriko is still posting, she probably just forgot about that thread.

Well... that's Nuriko who hasn't replied... and she has been online lately, replying to other threads... You could send her a PM, and ask her about why she hasn't posted. Or... she may see this. But if you really just want out of the thread, you could just leave an OOC not at the bottom of your last post, saying your character is no longer there. Or you could edit your last post and make your character leave IC. It's really up to what you want to do.

Thanks you guys. I don't know who plays who around here, so I didn't even think to check that the person might play another character. Still, for future reference I'll know what to do if I ever have another situation like this.

! You're welcome. And yeah, it's kinda hard to keep up with who plays who since we have so many characters, but I somehow manage to do it. ~`Buffy`~

Only because you own nearly a quarter of them. ;D

Hey! You're getting up there in the character numbers too! And TC has more than me, anyway. ~coughs and hacks~

I am sooooooooo tempted to do two more. -_- I'm out of my mind. Anyone want to take Kevin? I think it'd be awkward having a relationship with myself rofl. I also wanted to do a mutant vamp/seductress whose only power is to multiply or divide the powers of others. Her sole goal in life is to find a powerful mutant to cling to and ride the coat-tails. Sort of like a mutant overbearing girlfriend.

LMAO!!!! Well, look at it this way, I doubt you'll ever have as many as I do. Although half of mine were made for plots that TC and I have come up with, so they don't really count, but still. And I'm way bad for liking NPCs. x.x Nick was a NPC at first. And now I'm going to make Ethan's Celestine... Ugh... ~slaps self~ I need to come up with dull NPCs, so I won't like them! ~coughs~ Edit: And that's funny you're talking about having a relationship with yourself, when I'm doing the same thing with Celestine. LMAO ~`Buffy`~

I think it would be really difficult for any of us to have as many characters as you do! But if you come up with dull NPCs, the plots will be less interesting. It's a delicate balance Hey, is there somewhere where people who have minor plots can post like proposed characters, so nobody has to have a relationship with themselves? I dunno quite what I'm suggesting or how it would work, but it seems like something worth considering. If both you guys have that problem, other people probably do too.

That actually sounds like a good idea. Like a partner swap.

~huggles my million characters~ ~coughs~ You have a point there. And hmmm... I suppose we could make a Plot board. Then everything dealing with plots, could go there. I'll talk to TC about it when she gets on, and see what she says. ~`Buffy`~

Hey, now! I may have a bazillion characters, but they've been collected over the past three years! And yeah, most of Buffy and my characters are just for our plots.. If you counted only the ones that we used everywhere, then we wouldn't have a ton. Haha, and Natalya was a NPC at first, too.. *shnicker* ~Pink TC
