What if we had out-of-class extra lessons in extraneous stuff like power-practice, martial arts and the like?
Actually run by posters or just students in a study group, it would be a more casual way to learn out of class as well as add an extra dimension to our lives.
For example, Darkstar is an older student and so he could be heading a study group.
An actualy x-men memeber, if they have the time, could take little groups for powers or martial combat.
Hell, if you wanted, you could even organise the classes in levels such that there are basic, moderate and advancd classess (gives RPers a chance to build up a sort of IC experience as well as give them a chance to express their characters by excelling in advanced classes in some subjects whilst dragging along in a basic class of something else).
Equally, this oculd work for anything, even a math club if you wanted (not just extra-credit classes but even simply extra-support for some students struggling with particular subjects).
