If you're going on vacation or something came up and you won't be able to post for a while, you can post here and inform everyone. This is a good thing to do, so that people will know why you aren't replying to their threads.

Under this board, you'll find four sub-boards. There's a board for member advertisements, two for guest advertisements and then affiliation requests. Please make sure to read the board descriptions and the stickied rules before creating a thread.

This board can be used for any type of plotting. You can plot things with other members here or you can post plot characters here that you'd like someone to play. Basically anything involving plots, goes here.

This is an in character board for your character to make their own Facespace page. Basically Facespace is sort of like blog or social network. You can also use this board to allow your character to write a diary or journal, in which can be private or open to other characters to reply to. The choice is yours. Have fun!

Sub-board: Inactive Facespacers

This board is just for fun! Here you can post 'alternate universe' or 'time forwarding' plots with your normal SC characters. You can experiment with how your characters would be in five, ten, twenty years! Or, true to the Marvel What If? comics, you can try out all sorts of wacky plots you don't want to actually use in the official SC timeline!

This board is basically a place for you to find someone to RP with. If you have a thread that no one is replying to, feel free to post here and advertise it. Hopefully someone will see it, and go reply.

This board is for discussing plots specifically related to the X-Men missions.

On this board, you'll find the Institute Chatroom! X-Men, teachers and students alike are free to join the chatroom and... well, chat! The chatroom is in character. OOC chatting should be done in the main page shoutbox!

Xavier's Institute, located in Salem Center, New York. On the outside, it's just your normal, every day private school. On the inside, it's the home of the X-Men, a school for the gifted, and a safe haven for mutants in need. For a detailed layout of the Institute, check out this thread. This board is for threads around the Institute that don't have their own board.

The den is a place where most of the students hang out. There's a couple of couches, a TV, a pool table, stuff like that. This is also where the main and back entrances to the mansion are located. The elevator and stairs are also located near the den.

Also known as the play room by the younger kids. This room is used as a recreation room. It has a few arcade games, a TV with different game consoles connected to it, a foosball table, and a second pool table (first is in the den).

The classroom hall holds a couple of different rooms, for different classes. There is a label outside each door, which explains what class is held in what room. The teacher's lounge is also located in this hallway.

All bedrooms are located here. There's a hall for the staff, for the boy's rooms, and for the girl's rooms. Most of the rooms are designed for two people, which means everyone will have a roommate. To find out who your roommate is, check out the Roommates List.

This place is also known as Ororo's Roost. It is located in the attic of the Institute. It's a fairly large room. Storm's huge collection of different plants are here. They gain their sunlight from a large overhanging skylight the room has.

There is where you can practice your powers. It is located on the second level of the sub-basement. It has holographic projectors, which can virtually duplicate any enviroment, as well as many different opponents. There's also highly advanced robots available for you to train with. Students are not allowed in second level of the sub-basement or the Danger Room without a supervisor!!

There are a series of sewer tunnels that run under Salem Center. Some tunnels are big, others are small. There's even rumored to be an old abandoned Subway system somewhere down there. These tunnels are smelly and dank, and not many people choose to come down here.

Here's where you can post your characters at home. This board includes all different types of places to live, such as the high class mansions and homes with a ton of acreage, the middle class houses, apartments, trailers, and then the low class cruddy apartments and trailer park.

This is the place for all the outdoor activities that take place outside of town. There's the Wakesilva Woods, with many trails for hikers, bicyclists, and horseback riders, and a road for cars. The Poctra Mountains are also a nice place to hike or ride bikes. And then there's Banff Lake, where all sorts of water activities take place, as well as iceskating and such in the winter months. There are also cabins on the lakeshore for rent. For some beach fun, one would have to travel about an hour away to the beachs in the nearby Connecticut.

The Big Apple! Here you can post anything your character does in New York City. The drive from Salem Center is typically between one hour and two.
